Article 8.7 End of an employment contract when an employee is missing 1 If an employee is missing and, considering all the circumstances, it can be regarded as certain that the employee is dead, the employee will be deemed to have died on a date to be determined by the employer. In such a case article 8.6 applies mutatis mutandis. 2 Article 8.6, paragraph 2 does not apply if there is good reason to believe that the employee is absent without leave.
