Article 4.15 Tickets and bookings 1 Tickets and bookings for overnight accommodation for official travel or travel for the purposes of training must be requested by the employee or, with the prior written permission of the employer, respectively bought or made by the employee as soon as possible, but in any case no later than 21 calendar days before departure. If this is not possible, the employee must explain why in writing to the employer. 2 Tickets are issued or reimbursed for travel on a predetermined date. If special circumstances give cause to do so, the employer may permit the purchase or reimbursement of an undated ticket. 3 The employer can indicate to the employee which facility or facilities should be used for overnight stays.
