Article 7 Escort during transit 1 The Requesting Party will indicate whether the person subject to transit will be escorted. That will be indicated in the transit application under B (Transit operation). 2 Immediately after receiving a positive response to the transit application, the Requesting Party will inform the Requested Party about the name(s), family name(s) and the type and number of passport(s) of the escort(s). The travel details, the escort authorisation number and the issuing authority of that authorisation will also be indicated. 3 If the Requesting Party deems it necessary to have the support of the authorities of the Requested Party for a particular transit, that request will be indicated in the transit application under C (Observations). 4 In its response to the transit application the Requested Party will also state whether it can provide the requested support.
