Article 5 Procedure regarding transit of third-country nationals and stateless persons 1 The transit of third-country nationals or stateless persons shall be carried out according to the Articles 13 and 14 of the Agreement. 2 The transit application for third-country nationals or stateless persons should be sent directly by fax or other means of communication to the competent authorities of the Requested Party taking into account the provisions of Article 16 of the Agreement. 3 The transit application should be sent to the Requested Party preferably no later than seven calendar days prior to the transit. The Requested Party will respond without delay but within five calendar days. 4 The response to the transit application contains the data enumerated in Annex 5 to this Protocol.
