Article 18 Environment 1 The Contracting Parties support the need to protect the environment by promoting the sustainable development of aviation. 2 The Contracting Parties recognize the need to take appropriate measures to prevent or otherwise address the environmental impact of air transport, provided that such measures are fully consistent with their rights and obligations under international law.
