Article 23 Environment The Parties agree to implement measures to cooperate in the emission reduction and the protection of the environment against pollution caused by air operations; thus, this will help to preserve the bases of human life, within a sustainable and appropriate environmental management. In addition, they shall encourage global initiatives which are inherent in the preservation and protection of biodiversity, the concern about the environmental impact, ecosystems and sustainable development of commercial aviation.
